Great Shoulder Tattoos

Upon request I will give my two cents on what I think would be some great shoulder tattoos.

First off, I have many tattoos.  Seems that the ones that hurt the least are the ones on my arm and shoulder.  Some places are just more sensitive than others.  If you are getting a tattoo for the first time (or just another one altogether) the shoulder hurts the least.  It is also a very nice even canvas for the artist.

I personally like fairies, crosses, stars, hearts and Japanese art.  But that is not for all.  For men I would suggest some bad ass crosses.  Timeless pieces are the best of course.  Not trendy.  No way.  You will regret it.  What's in"in" today will be "out" tomorrow.

Of course I would suggest a larger piece for the shoulder on a man.  Dragons are always good.  And always in style it seems.  I personally like the panthers that come up over your shoulder.  Crosses are alway a good choice though.  Not just regular type of crosses.  The more unique the better.  I have an ankh on my arm with a rose vine going through.  An ankh for those who aren't familiar, is the Egyptian symbol for never ending life. It's like a cross that is rounded at the top.  Really pretty cool.

Now, tribals....  Ugh.  They are very cool looking but again, a tad too trendy as far as I'm concerned.  But there are some very nice pieces.

Whatever you may decide to get, just spend a little time and do some research on your own.  Make sure you get something that you absolutely love!

Good Luck and Enjoy!

Remember, your tattoo reveals a part of you.  Make it the best part!!!!
